Genix App S.R.L. ("Genix," "we," "us," or "our") operates a social media platform where users can connect, share content, and support creators. This Refund Policy outlines our policy regarding virtual currency ("Coins") and other in-app purchases made on the Platform.

1. NO REFUNDS ON PURCHASES:

1.1 ALL PURCHASES OF COINS ON GENIX ARE FINAL. WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS, RETURNS, OR EXCHANGES FOR ANY COINS ONCE THEY HAVE BEEN PURCHASED, REGARDLESS OF THE REASON FOR THE REQUEST. THIS INCLUDES, BUT IS NOT LIMITED TO, UNUSED COINS, ACCIDENTAL PURCHASES, OR DISSATISFACTION WITH THE PLATFORM'S SERVICES.

2. VIRTUAL CURRENCY (COINS):

2.1 Coins are the virtual currency used on the Platform. Coins can be purchased using real-world currency through secure payment methods offered by the Platform. We utilize a third-party payment processor to ensure the security and reliability of all transactions. ALL PURCHASES OF COINS ARE FINAL AND NON-REFUNDABLE. This is because once Coins are credited to your account, they are immediately available for use on various Platform features. There is no option to convert Coins back into real-world currency. The Platform offers various features and functionalities that can be purchased using Coins. This may include:

a)    Supporting Creators: Users can use Coins to tip or donate to creators they enjoy. These donations directly support the creators you value and help them continue producing content. Once a donation is made to a creator, the transaction is complete, and the funds are transferred to the creator's account. Due to the irreversible nature of this transaction, Genix cannot facilitate refunds for creator donations.

 

b)    Promotional Features: Users can purchase features to promote their content and reach a wider audience. These promotional features may include boosted posts, targeted advertising, or increased visibility in search results. Once a promotional feature is activated, the service begins immediately. Given the time-bound nature of these promotions, refunds cannot be granted after activation.

3. TRANSPARENCY AND USER EXPERIENCE:

3.1 Genix is committed to providing a fair and transparent user experience. We strive to ensure all in-app purchases are clearly defined before confirmation. Here's how we promote transparency:

a)    Clear Descriptions: Detailed descriptions accompany each in-app purchase, explaining its purpose and functionality. This allows users to make informed decisions before spending Coins.

b)    Confirmation Prompts: A confirmation prompt appears before finalizing any Coin purchase. This double-check ensures users understand what they are buying and avoids accidental purchases.

We encourage you to review the details of any purchase before confirming it. This Refund Policy is provided in addition to our Terms of Service, which govern your overall use of the Platform.

4. EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES:

4.1 While we maintain a strict no-refund policy for digital services, we understand that exceptional circumstances may arise. In such cases, Genix may consider issuing a refund at its sole discretion. Here are some examples:

a)    Technical Errors: In the event of a technical error that prevents the delivery of the purchased service, please contact our customer support team at [email protected]. We will review the case and, at our discretion, may offer a resolution, which could include the reissuance of the service. However, no monetary refunds will be provided.

b)    Duplicate Purchases: If a user accidentally purchases the same item twice due to a technical glitch, Genix may issue a refund for the duplicate purchase.

c)    Unauthorized Transactions: If you believe that an unauthorized transaction has occurred, you must contact our customer support team immediately at [email protected]. We will investigate the issue, and if we determine that the transaction was indeed unauthorized, we may offer a resolution, such as reversing the transaction or providing account credits. Monetary refunds will not be provided.

5. LEGAL COMPLIANCE:

5.1 Our refund policy complies with applicable consumer protection laws and regulations. If any provision of this policy is found to be unenforceable under such laws, the remaining provisions will continue to be in effect.

6. REFUND PROCESS:

6.1 The following steps shall be followed to submit a refund request:

To request a refund under exceptional circumstances, please reach out to our customer support team at [email protected].

 

b)    Provide Details:

Include your account details, transaction ID, the reason for your refund request, and any relevant evidence supporting your claim.

 

c)    Investigation:

Our support team will review your request and may contact you for further information. Please allow up to thirty (30) days for us to investigate and respond to your request.

6.2 Decision:

All refund decisions are made at the sole discretion of Genix and are final. If a refund is granted, it will be processed through the original payment method used for the purchase.

7. CHANGES TO THIS REFUND POLICY:

7.1 We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page and will be effective immediately upon posting.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:

8.1 Genix shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in any way connected with your use of our products or services.
